Approach

We are high school sweethearts who ended up building a business out of the thing we already did together. Jennifer photographs the day as it unfolds. Chris works the other side of the room, carrying the lighting, the group portraits and the details that need a second pair of hands. Two photographers is not an upgrade here, it is how we work.

What we are after is a record that still feels like the day rather than a performance of it. That means waiting more than arranging, staying close to the people who matter, and trusting that the honest frame is the one you will want on the wall in thirty years. Authenticity, integrity and dedication are the three things we hold ourselves to, and they show up as ordinary behaviour: turning up early, staying late, treating your family like ours.

Every session carries a roll of 35mm film alongside the digital work, because some things are worth keeping in a form you can hold. Previews reach you within 48 hours. The full gallery follows in four to six weeks and stays online for six months after that.

We photograph across Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Alexandria, Loudoun County, Leesburg, Winchester, Shenandoah Valley, and travel up and down the East Coast for weddings.
